Our Client is a Subsidiary of one of the largest Internet- and Telecommunication companies in Europe. The company is growing rapidly due to the growth of products and services as well as market penetration in the region. Within the IS department, the TRUST Team is responsible for Testing, Reporting & User Support. A team of 7 employees supports all the business departments in the use of the business applications Infranet, Vantive, DWH, and others. A second task is the development and maintenance of datawarehouse reports. The third responsibility is the overall coordination of all Testing and Delivery projects within IS. For this Team we are looking for a

 

Head of Reporting, Support & Testing

Function description:

The Head of Reporting, Support & Testing (TRUST) is overall responsible for all team member contacts concerning support and requests of the internal business departments such as Customer Services, Sales, Marketing and Finance. A second role is the management of the team member contacts with external parties such as the Call Center, the Helpdesk and the Data Ware House (DWH) Solution Provider.

 

Main responsibilities are: 

Ensure that the quality of the User Support on the Business Applications are handled according to the SLA’s. The scheduling of all reporting activities and the optimization of the number of reports. Ensure the coordination of all Testing & Delivery projects of new functionality on the Business Applications. The development and maintenance of the Datawarehouse evolutions. The monitoring of the efficiency of the team and the coaching of the individual team members in their own specialized tasks. In general terms: setting objectives for team members; coaching and supporting team members; reviewing performance of team members; identifying training requirements and personal development opportunities from a company perspective; Recruiting of new team members. With your fellow Teamleaders and the IS management you are constantly striving to secure and improve the customer satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits

Depends on experience and seniority. Salary indication Euro 4.000,- to 4.500,- gross per month + 10 % bonus and fringe benefits. Part-time employment is not an option.

 

Demands:

Education: higher Vocational level. Proven track record with implementation projects of large business applications. Knowledge and experience with the software development life cycle (build, test, maintain, support). Knowledge of Testing projects is preferable. Knowledge of the User Support processes is preferable. Experience with the implementation of a datawarehouse. Excellent people management skills. Strong personality, stress resistant, used in coping with short deadlines. Capable of initiating and conducting structured efficiency improvements within the team. No 9 to 5 mentality.
