Our Client is a Subsidiary of one of the
largest Internet- and Telecommunication companies in Europe. The company is
growing rapidly due to the growth of products and services as well as market
penetration in the region. Within the IS department, the Functional Design
Team is responsible for the development, support and maintenance of all
business applications in the Netherlands. This concerns applications for
Billing, CRM, Datawarehousing and other large applications. Within the team 5
Functional Analysts have their own field of expertise concerning business processes
and business products. For this Team we are looking for a Head of Functional
Design / Functional Architect Function description: As Head of Functional Design you are the people manager for the team, as well as the overall Functional Architect of the Dutch Organization. Peoplemanagement tasks are: Setting objectives for team members; Coaching and supporting team members; Reviewing performance of team members; Identifying training requirements and personal development opportunities from a company perspective; Recruiting of new team members. As Functional Architect your main objective is to optimize the functional information architecture of the organization. Such in good cooperation with Technical Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers. It will be your task to ensure that information solutions support the business processes as optimal as possible. Keywords are flexibility, scalability, easy to support & maintain and in line with the existing information architecture and design specifications. Wherever possible, information solutions should lead to savings in maintenance and/or future development. Culture Compensation and Benefits Depends
on experience and seniority. Salary indication Euro 4000,- to 5000,- gross
per month + 10 % bonus and fringe benefits. Part-time employment is not an
option. Demands: Education: higher Vocational
level. Proven track record in software development of large business
applications. At least 2 years experience as a Business Analyst or Functional
Architect. Experience with data modeling and modern architecture concepts.
Good people management skills and at least 1 year experience as a Team
Manager. Strong personality, communicative, consensus minded, analytical,
result oriented, persevering, stress resistant. No 9 to 5 mentality. For information on this and other
